President & CEO'S WELCOME
Welcome to the HOPE website! April is our National Fair Housing month. To celebrate, HOPE, Inc. is sponsoring its 16th Annual Fair Housing Luncheon and Celebrations in both Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Please SAVE THE DATE, and join us on Friday, April 17th from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale. This year the Broward theme is "One Community, One People." Our celebration will include free breakfast and luncheon, with workshops on homeownership preservation, foreclosure prevention, and the Neighborhood Stabilization and Rebuilding Plan.
On April 24, 2009, we will host our Miami-Dade Celebration at the Treetop Ballroom in Jungle Island from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme is "Uniting to Create Solutions." Our morning workshops will include Mortgage Fraud information, as well as, a comprehensive discussion on the newly enacted American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Both events offer important opportunities for our local communities to become engaged and informed on the current financial and governmental issues of concern for South Florida and our nation at large.
