President & CEO'S WELCOME
Welcome to HOPE's new website! HOPE, Inc. is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2008, while commemorating the passage of the Fair Housing Act 40 years ago. This is clearly a time for touting local and national accomplishments, but it is also a crucial time for reflection and realization, as we put the future in perspective relative to our past. Reflecting on the past two decades, HOPE, Inc. has been instrumental in the recovery of over $8 million for victims of housing discrimination. As we escalate our fight against the daily injustices that occur in the housing market, we must face certain realities. Discrimination continues to become more subtle and difficult to detect, but no less pervasive or destructive to our communities. Now, more than ever, partnerships are essential to effectuate real change. Public and private resources are steadily drying up, but leveraged collaborations pack a more powerful punch.
